NEMA/PET CDS GROUP Sensitizes - Ecwa Church Members On Malaria And On Hiv/Aids Continuous Awareness In Kamba, Dandi L.G.A

The corp members of NEMA/PET CDS group Kamba, Dandi L.G.A in line with their 6 months mapped-out enlightenment strategic plan embarked on an awareness campaign at ECWA Church Kamba.  Wherein, the speakers such as Agbai, Robert Mang KB/16A/0725,  Corp member John-mary Ude and also, the CDS group president Ejegbu, Jonah Ude KB/16A/0105 who led the group to the enlightenment campaign, advised the church members to ensure regular use of their mosquito nets prior to retiring to bed at night, avoid sharing sharp objects with someone else and to ensure constant updating of their HIV status after every 3 months interval. The group used the privilege to counselled the church members on the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and the need to avoid stigmatization against persons living with the virus and their on role towards achieving a HIV free society. The group also, pleaded with the church minister to ensure intending couples knows their HIV status before their been wedded by the church. The minister thanked the CDS group members for coming and prayed GOD to continue to bless them in their efforts. At the end 37 persons were tested of their HIV status..
